Hi,
I cant turn my head much before one of the IR leds disappear so i was wondering if it would help if i removed the IR filter? The IR leds are shining bright if they point at the camera and they almost build a small halo and as fast as i turn my head they looked turned of.

PS. I got a VX-3000 webcamera and i would rather not take it apart just for checking.

Vos ist los, Hybrid!

You need to file down the tops of your leds...

The specs show that the beam angle is only 25 +/- degrees, so filing them down to about a milimeter or 2 above the anode and cathode will greatly increase the angle. Use a fingernail buffer after filing to buff them out to a matted gloss, but not too glossy. I hope this helps!
