Class : Beta Tester Posts : 59 Registered on : 11/05/2008 Off line	Why is this forum so quiet??? Nobody writes or answers... I woud like to fully enjoy 6 DOF in a combat flight simulator. There is Lock On Black Shark coming out end 2008....but know I guess there is only Open Falcon supporting 6 DOF. All the others games have only 3 DOF (such as allied force). How can I have Open Falcon? Do I need Falcon 4.0 1998, or is it ok if I buy Falcon 4.0 Allied Force (2005) ? And does Falcon 4.0 receive graphics improvement from Open Falcon upgrade?

Class : Apprenti Posts : 44 Registered on : 25/09/2007 Off line	FreeFalcon4/RedViper and the soon to be released FreeFalcon5 also supports 6DoF, and they both install over F$:AF, which OF does not. OF only works with the orginal Falcon 4.0.

Class : Beta Tester Posts : 59 Registered on : 11/05/2008 Off line	I thought freefalcon 4 and open falcon were the same thing.... However, I put open falcon on falcon 4.0. It works well. I'm going to try red viper, but I would need to install allied force. Is there any big difference betwenn Open Falcon and Red viper? I have read that allied force is a mix between graphic improvement and a good instrumental cockpit / simulation. OPEN FALCON is the best simulation but worse graphics. Red viper aim at a good graphic but not so good simulation and instrumental cockpit realism.
