I'm building another trackclip just for fun, I just have to decide if I should go USB or Battery power. My big question: will I have any issue using a Micro USB port in the clip so I can reuse the cable? I don't want to solder the cable directly into the clip if I can help it. I have the wall adapter and the cable already. I have found
female micro usb ports relatively cheap on Amazon. I still need to buy a PTC fuse (250 ma IIRC), but other than that I still have some leftover LEDs and wire from my first build.
Can anyone share a similar build? I can't think of any reason why this shouldn't work, but I know this great community can also be a huge help. Thanks!
