Hi!
At my friends after a while of running the tracker the program crashes. I don't remember the error but, sometimes just the windows send/don't send report window appears and the camera turns off, but it's somehow still running so the Freetrack refuses to work if the camera is not re-enabled.
It didn't happen in the game so I am really not sure if it could.

I also noticed that there are some inteferences but not visual. Even in darkness it sometimes find more points than 3 used, for a very short moment (i'd say 0,1 sec), probably this beeing the reason the program crashes (too much points too handle). But i don't seem to find the reason for this extra points (no reflections anywhere, low exposure, high FPS, resolution of 320×240, bright yellow LED).
Any IDEA?

Sounds like webcam noise.
*Use I420 compression if your webcam supports it.
*Increase the threshold slider in Freetrack.
*Use IR leds; this allows you to reduce exposure further while the tracking points are still visible.

Ok tried the I420 compression but the FPS was jumping from low to normal. I guess it was light interference, because after 1 hour of playing in dark it didn't mess up.

Tnx 4 help.
