Hello. I am a very old user of freetrack...I picked up again Dirt 2, so I wanted to play with freetrack as I used to do.
I left freetrack fully working...but today I plugin the webcam, start freetrack and it keeps saying 'failed to register.....name file....cannot use video sources'.
It says to run the software as administrator...of course I did but nothing changes. I tried restarting the system, uninstalling and reinstalling freetrack, I checked the webcam in other programs and it works.
The funny thing is that last time I launched freetrack everything was working well. I didn't change, uninstall, or install any driver or webcam or software regarding freetrack or the webcam....and many people solve the problem just by launching freetrack as administrator, but for me it didn't work (windows 7).

May be you are using trial version of freetrack.
If I am right then you can only solve this problem by purchasing full version or find it's crack. After that it will definitely work.
There is no pay version of free-track, hence the word free in it.
