Has anyone got FT to work in DCS A-10 yet?  I've tried track IR fixer in the .bin folder but it will not apply.  It shows TIR support in the control option but the inputs are not going through.

Looks like it uses a new version of NewInput.dll, TIRFixer will probably have to be updated to support it.

It doesn't seem to work. Tried the latest patch, no go. I just don't understand why game companies keep doing this. Does NP give them some financial support or something?

Whether or not I can get freetrack working with this will decide whether I buy it. Whoever it was that produced the fix for black shark, super please see what you can do!

Quarrion has made a new version of TrackIrFixer.  It works in DCS: A-10C.
32 bit of course. ED is waiting on Natural point to stop counting money and send them a 64 bit software fix.

To preempt questions that will almost certainly pop up, if you're on a 64 bit system you want to patch the NewInput.dll in \bin\x86, not the one in \bin, since the 64 bit version is the "default" one on 64 bit OSs and the 32 bit version goes in the x86 folder.

In short, place TIRFixer in the \bin\x86 folder if you have one.

Path for DCS: A-10C 32-bit is :"C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS A-10C Beta\bin"

As far as I know 64 bit TrackIR of FreeTrack is not supported yet because Natrual Point is too busy counting money.

It works, but in 32 bit only at the moment, but that's TIR's fault.

Found DCS:A10C (newimput.dll)
ERROR: Cannot find code to fix.
File may be encrypted or using different code.

Can I get the dll. with out using trackirfixer

edit: never mind. x86 folder worked

Anyone managed to get this working in the 64bit A10 yet?

Ive just bought this sim and upgraded my CPU, Mem and Mobo to run it and am gutted that freetrack doesn't work. Looks like im gonna have to install win7 32bit on a separate partition if there's no fix.

DCS A-10C at install has a option to have the 32bit and 64bit EXE instaled. Also the TrackIR 64bit driver is out and in Beta 4 DCS will support the head tracking.
