Hi Everyone!

I want to try out freetrack 2.1, but can get it working in Vista on my
VAIO VGN-AR laptop with the integrated web cam.

When I'm starting video in FreeTrack it displays video screen for several moments with colors distored at the lower half of the image and afterward crashes. If I try to start vidoe from the tray area it doesn't crashes, until I switch to the video window, but that way I was unable to configure setsitivity to get a good track of my LED.

Tried to upgrade to the latest version of DirectX and as well change all filters in freetrack.ini file.

Any ideas?

Me same problem.

Just got new VX-1000, have not yet modified, except to reduce autoexposure to 0 and other tweaks (still getting bad fps though - 19/20). No visible light filter, didn't remove IR filter. but start freetrack in cam mode, put up my TV remote press a button and... presto FT crashes.

Poop.

Running vista, FT 2.1, want to use for IL-2 + 1946.

Hey i'm reading the forum and I find that EVERYBODY has the same problem: software crashes with kernel32.dll.

Is there anyone who can use the software with no crashes? Mine can't last a minute, the crash occurs.

Witch type of webcam compressor you used ? (go to stream button)

YUY2 ? not supported in freetrack 2.1 ...

Have you try with different compressor ? (Search about webcam driver - If possible ...)

About webcam
Witch VAIO model you used ?
