Hi guys,
For various reasons I had to reinstall my Black Shark in order for the 1.0.2 patch to work properly. In this process I lost my capability to use freetrack as a head tracking solution. HERE IS HOW TO ENABLE FREE TRACK USE IN BLACK SHARK 1) Update your sim to 1.0.2 2) Download the trackirfixer.exe file available here: http://www.free-track.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=1892 3) Place the trackirfixer.exe in the following location: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\bin\x86\stable 4) Run the trackirfixer.exe. This will replace the existing newinput.dll file with the one in the .exe. I deleted the trackirfixer.exe from this file directory after using. 5) Your done. I did notice my free track was cutting out mid way through flight. I am assuming that is a local issue on my part because I did get the head tracking to work. Please state if anybody is having issues with freetrack cutting out. Thanks, Habu

Thanks, it works.
I had to uninstall 1.0.2 patch and install it again in order to make it working. |

No issues with FT here. Although, sometimes I have stuttering caused by game itself (drop in FPS caused by loading scenery, activating Shkval etc). |

Hi Guys,
I'm having a problem with TrackIR Fixer in that I unzip the exe into the aforementioned folder and try to run it but I'm getting the error: "MFC71D.DLL component cannot be found. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem" Has anyone else experienced this? *EDIT* Nevermind. I'm guessing it's a problem with my system. Running SFC now. Cheers

If you have your operating system disc you could run SFC to fix your broken files. That's what I did.
Go to a command window by going to 'Start menu' >>> 'Run' >> type in cmd and hit enter. When the window appears type 'sfc /scannow' Hope that helps you, Black |

What Win version do you run?
Mine is Win7 32bits and it doesn't have mfc71d.dll either. There is a bunch of .dll files in C:\Windows\System32 folder but that one isn't. Forget to say, I patched BS 1.0.2. with success...

Hello mate, sorry it's taken a while to get back to you. I'm running Windows XP SP3 but sfc /scannow will still run on windows 7, the caveat being that you'll have run an elevated command prompt by doing the following: 1. Open the Start Menu. 2. Click on All Programs and Accessories, then right click on Command Prompt and click on Run as administrator. 3. type in sfc /scannow Hopefully that should solve your problems. |

There was misunderstanding here
I didn't have problems with patching newinput.dll I also tried to help but it looks like they solved issues Thanks for effort, though |

Hi there,
I'm getting the error: "MFC71D.DLL component cannot be found. sfc /scannow doesn't help in my case. I'm using windows 7 x64. Is there other way to patch, or it will be great if somebody send me the patched dll for 1.0.2 on PM or mail? Thanks!

I fixed the Same MFCC71D.dll problem with an earlier build of trackirfixer. I downloaded it in May i think...Dunno the version...
BTW - I just installed Vista 32 on a newly formated drive. Luckily i backed this file up. Good luck. |

I have free track working on its own and applied the patch to black shark, but how do i assign look to free track axis? There is no tracking device detected in the black shark control panel to assign any of the look commands to.
