to run very choopy after a couple of hours of using the program?

I start freetrack up and it runs fine for a couple of hours then about three hours into flying...the views get choopy and stick. Creates very crappy game play.
Even after exiting the game i get the choppy/sticky movement in the freetrack window.

Kinda blows. Blows indeed!

No, it works fine...
Is every work on PC problematic or just FT?
Maybe to try to pause/unpause FT (SHIFT+F9)?

well..its the power that is the problem.

I used the LED Assembly Wizard.

Using Radio Shack IR LED 16mW min  1.2v 100mA   with 2 triple A batteries and three 18 ohm resistors. AS THE WIZARD SUGGESTED!

Im sucking the life out of batteries in just a few hours.  8 pairs in as many days.

Im going to go with USB and see how that works.

The Wizard blows!

You have big losses on those resistors :( You should think about changing your setup. Add one battery to pack and...

3x1.5V=4.5V for supply

3x1.2V=3.6V drop on LEDs

18 Ohm resistor for 0.9V on it and I=50mA

In serial setup you should have:

I------------LED---LED--LED--R (18 Ohm)--------I
I                                                                     I
I---------BAT (-) 3xAAA BAT (+)--------------------I

Losses: 45mW, was 3 x 180mW=540mW

or go for USB :) (I took power from molex of PC PSU - its even better)
