if i want to make a 3 point clip like benmeijer's powered by usb. how would i regulate to power would i use resitor and if so which ones. like the banding colors

use any value (below) to regulate power between 50 mA and 75 mA

6.8 ohm   - Blue, gray, gold, gold        ---- 75 mA   -- led's are very bright
8.2 ohm   - Gray, red, gold, gold         ---- 61 mA   -- led's are bright
10 ohm    - Brown, black, black, gold  ---- 50 mA   -- led's are medium bright

assuming you use 5 v regulated power (like USB)

Use E24 series, 1/2 watt resistors
