Quickcam IM connect from logitech.
Be aware that you have to use a mode that can deliver 30 FPS.

ok.

I have the logitech quickcam express.

I quote :

Logitech QuickCam Express

Low-price camera. 30fps. High cpu usage. Average field of view. Moderate image noise. IR filter relatively easy to remove.

I have only 15 fps, why did you write 30 fps ?

What is IR filter and how can i remove it ?

Thx.

Did you set the reselution to 320x240?
Did you set the target frame rate to 30?

Its a known issue that freetrack somtimes cant save the settings .
Open another program like AMcap or the utilities from Logitech to set up the capture stream right.
I hope that this will help.

Does the Quickcam IM connect is a good choice ?

Oh.. what a pity. :(
You schould check the Webcam compatibility guide (13 sept. 2007), Share your webcam experiences
. Before shopping. The price says nothing about how it will work with freetrack. The only important thing is  that the cam is capable to stream 30 frames per second (without auto-gain) in 320x240 mode.
I'm afraid that I can't give you any suggestions witch model to use. I have the IM/connect  now about one and a half year and I'm satisfied.
