Ok, first delete all old versions; then download the 2.2 version; an at last download the last maintenance release (all bugs fixed, 11.22.08) : FreeTrack 2.2.0.279
I'm I right about this.

ok is there any manual for the last: last maintenance release (all bugs fixed, 11.22.08) FreeTrack 2.2.0.279, so I can check how to install this. Or will this repair file overwrite the old one without problems.

Manual of freetrack Software is include with package !
This is a manual not a debug install document, so if you have an install problem, follow this :
If you want to made a fresh install of freetrack, delete old freetrack release before (by control panel -> add or delete programs -> freetrack x.xx ...) and after taht, delete all others files in freetrack directory (like freetrack.ini ... etc ...)
Install last freetrack release (with last package) !
Install last directX 9.0c release !
Freetrack must work now ! but for some reason if not :
if freetrack install doesn't work correctly : Try to register OCX filters manually with regsrv32 command :
(Freetrack.exe should auto register ocx at start ... I don't know why it doesn't work on your computer ...)
Regsrv32 filename.ocx
example :
Regsrv32 FreeTrackFilterSSE2.ax
Regsrv32 FreeTrackFilterMMX.ax
Regsrv32 D3DX92ab.dll
check NPClient.dll path on windows registry ...
and FreeTrack Client :
for example (with default path)
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Freetrack\FreetrackClient]
"Path"="C:\\Program Files\\FreeTrack\\"
If you have more than one freetrack installed you must selected correct path of your freetrack installation directory you used ...
You can't add more than one path at the same time ...
After a new install, custom profiles and model calibration must be made, like first time you install freetrack ...
