Like the topic says. I used to use my EyeToy with freetrack and IL2. Today i fixed my IR LEDS to work with my WiiMote and Freetrack.

When i launch freetrack, connect my Wiimote with bluetooth and everything and launch the game, IL2 doesnt see my Joystick (Wingman3D) anymore. When i go to options in IL2 and choose input it says there is no joystick connected.

When i disable bluetooth, run IL2, alt+tab to desktop, enable bluetooth and setup freetrack with the Wiimote and go back into the game everything works like it should.   :wacko:

I set the default gamepad in Vista to Wingman3D.

Any suggestions? because i rather continue useing the Wiimote because the tracking is much smoother then my webcam..

Bluesoleil and most other BlueTooth stacks use a virtual joystick device which is probably causing the confusion. You can manually disable/uninstall it in Device Manager under Human Interface Devices.

Alternatively there may be an IL2 config file that allows you to specify exactly which joystick to use.

Thanx for your reply. :)

When i uninstall the virtual joystick device wont that screw up that my Wiimote wont work anymore? I will try when im back from work.

I looked into the IL2 config file and saw that you can select joystick use on or off..

Jewcookie, inside congig.ini we have one command that say "trackir=0 or 1".
Check this and confirm that has 1 value, its one possible solution.

Or the most easy way to avoid that is to run the game, and then connect your wiimote via BT. So the joystick will connect beforehand and the virtual joy will not

[rts]
;ProcessAffinityMask=1
mouseUse=2
joyUse=1
trackIRUse=1
DisableIME=0
locale=

It's on. So that is not the solution i think.

That is not handy. If i do so and play it like that the joystick will be disabled again when the server changes map..

Go into control settings in the game.

Choose the control you want to change, like "steer left" and move your joystick to the left. :P
