I have updated BS to 1.0.2 and run TrackIRfixer.exe successfully but freetrack is no longer working in the game. Do I have to change anything in BS 'Options' menu or should it work automatically?

I have updated to BlackShark 1.02 and downloaded TrackIRFixer 1.3.0.18 (one that does not replace the dll but "changes it while the game is running").
Ran the TrackIRFixer inside the bin directory. The app says searching for running TrackIR games and then detects simulator.exe from black shark. Nothing happens. I have freetrack running and have trackir controls available under Axis. Do you need to change scripts/Input/input.lua Line:17 ? setHeadTrackerDllPath('./bin/headtracker/headtracker.dll') or create that directory and or move something to that directory? If the old version of TrackIRFixer works with blackshark1.02 can someone post a link to it? |

I'm having problems with DCS: Black Shark and freetrack also.
I see BS have options for "assign axis" (or similar), and there trackir is set, apparently. Freetrack is working just fine, but not in that game. It's the Steam version, btw. Using trackirfixer 1.3.0.20, but I haven't tested running it from the game install directory. Seems that doesn't help anyway from the looks of the previous poster.

Same here. I have tried everything on the net to get this to work in BS with no luck except to use mouse emulation and hit L-ALT+c to switch mouse look on in the game.
I honestly do remember getting this to work once when I was running win7 32 bit. The 64 bit must just hose the whole deal..... Rob |

Guys; When I fly with BS1, I did something by using TrackIRfixer. But which version, I don't remember. So, I get a newinput.dll file.
Don't wate time with headtracker binary files. They're not necessary. If you can fix newinput.dll file, it will work. My system was Win7 64bit. |

How do the hell do you get Freetrack working with blackshark? I tried the headtracker.dll but accomplished nothing!! Can anyone link or supply the Track IR fixer I need to update this!!?? If someone supplies it, then we can have it for reference for others who are having this trouble.!

I don't know if this is just a fluke or not, but I just managed to get freetrack to work with blackshark... I had given up months ago at getting it to work, and I don't know if naturalpointofview released a fixed version or what, but on a lark I decided to go and download the newest version of trackirfixer, put the EXE in the blackshark folder, double clicked it, started freetrack, started blackshark and BAM, head tracking! I was blown away.
