Hi everyone on start sorry for my poor english.
Well F.T is a great program and when i learn bout it in overflow of enthusiasm i bouth a vx1000 and destroy it with lack off my skill and screwdriver honestly just taking ir filter out and place a peace a fllopy disk inside with a litlle of super glue (i was weeeery carefull) the next thing i did i rise the fps from 15 to 20 with disabling auto options and stuff. It was good but the vision of 30 fps still persuing me so, i note the bandwitch that when in auto placed on 3, manualy i can get only to 4, once i place it on 7 dont know how and receive 30 fps instantly, but my modem said something that it could not connect or something like is to much divices pluged in. I try to plug my cammera in others usb connecktors, but never manage it to place usb bandwitch higher than 4 never again (olvays returning on 4) so i would like to know what it is usb bandwitch and the other thing due to lack of ir leds i just made a F.T. with a single diod kind like hanging on xmas trees and power it with 2 aa battery with no resistors enough for il2 sturmovik. thanks to modiffication i made to my cammera i can play in daylight with open windows and there is no parasitic light so i probably stick with that diod, cuz it easier to get than ir and i have a lot of them and is not visible while plaing(placed obove my sight and its no bright) but i was wondering can i power it with ac/dc adapter there is the spec.(input 220/240v 50Hz. power 18W. output 1.5-3 4.5-6-7.5-9-12 current 1000mA MAX polarity switch) the reason i asking i did connected it once and it works(3v) but my adapter have heating wery fast and i think its geting to warm dont know thought. edit: P.S. this is what is showed me when i set usb bandwitch on 7 but wonder whay i cannot do that again (,Warning ! Insufficient bandwidth Other applications curretly occupy the USB BANDWIDTH .Please close all other applications ,then remove other USB devices . Click OK to continue .'' when klick ok the second mesage ,,Adjusting bandwidth Please wait while modem is adjusting the USB bandwidth.'' edit:2 already know what is bandwidtch and what cause problems now left only one question is it possible to power up leds with ac/dc adapter and how safe is this you know i want to powert up leds and not to turn my head in one

Hi Sasha!
If you still have problems with your USB Bandwith you maybe want to buy a PCI-USB Card. They are better than USB Hubs because they dont share the bandwith, they create new bandwith. You definitely CAN use an AC/DC Adaptor! I use one too! But you definitely should USE resistors. Im very surprised your LED didnt go off in smoke till now. To get the capacitor values use the tool on this site. Or do like the following: 1) Measure the voltage at the adaptor (it is higher than the value set there) 2) Calculate the resistor voltage If you put all 3 LEDs in series: Ur = Uv - 3xUf Uv ... adaptor Voltage Uf ... LED forward value (mine have 1.2 V, but it depends on the LED, most IR-LED's have somewhat between 1.1 - 1.5 V) 3) R=Ur/I I ... current that shall flow... depends also on the LED; but I think 20-50 mA is a good value (calculate with 0,02 - 0,05) Then you have your resistor value. Put all components in series and be sure to connect the anodes of the LEDs in direction of + (if you don't nothing gets destroyed, but they wont light up). + - + - + - (+) -----[RRR]----LED---LED----LED---- (-) If you are not sure about the Uf Forward Voltage (i used LEDs from old remote-controls, so I wasnt sure also) just start taking a resistor twice as high and have a look if its bright enough. I hope this helps isilive - Stefan |

Thx for help the reason that my diodes dont need resistors is simple my diodes look like this calling them diods was my misspell. I can use it well without resistors, and their durabillity its realy something they also good seen by my ms vx1000 in daylight and not so bright to distrackt me while playing in darkness when placed above my sight and also the quantity for amount of two euro i can get a lot of them.
A will try your scheme with adapter but can you tell me the fact that i dont use diods does matter i mean do i steel need to mount ressistors. Also thx for advising of baying PCI-USB Card i am not very familliar with computers (bought my only year ago) so didnt know what to do in this situation. PS. how much it should heat or what temperature the normal adaptor works, mine geting quite hot in 5 minutes.
