Hi

I have finally decided to go for the handsfree movement option for Playing IL2 1946.

Does anyone know if the TrackIR Pro Clip Headset will work with Free-Track software and my USB Webcam - Trust WB-3500T? It is a 30fps cam but not sure on the other specs.

I plan to also install the IL-1946 Profile for Free track from the Games profiles section to help configuration.

Some guys here got this headset working with FreeTrack.
About your webcam might be okay, there is no reason. You'll tell me how well it works, that way I'll update the list since no one has posted a report about this cam yet.

Hi Remy

I have tried and tested the Naturalpoint Trackir Clip pro headclip and it works perfectly with the Trust WB3500T with vista drivers installed. Very little set up and setting changes are required to run in IL2.

Simply attack clip to headphones, plug Clip pro headset into USB2.0 port, open Free-track. Adjust settings as required. Load and play the game.

I wasn't very impressed with mine, it's bent which causes problems with tracking, particularly roll, as well as unwanted translation, the leds aren't very bright and their frequency is too high for wiimote tracking, the frame is also quite weak with brittle plastic and floppy joints.
