I recommend nobody orders any pre build caps by Marcus W.
At least three people from this forum have already paid but never heard anything back. Perhaps this is just some misunderstanding and marcusw is on some kind of a holiday for 1 month.

But with a webshop, I would have checked my mail. I have filed with Paypal that I never received my product. So if I dont hear anything from marcusw I file a claim. I recommand everybody that paid using paypal does that.

Has anyone heard from Marcus in the last month?

I wanted to buy one of these hats but it looks like I may have to build one.

Thanks...

Hi,

I filed a claim using Paypal and he didn't respond to that and I got my money back.

I bought a TrackIR pro clip and use that with Freetrack (I don't think I have the necessary technical skills to build a hat myself!)

Because the initial transaction was more than 45 days ago, Paypal won't let me file a dispute :(

I unfortunately was in the same situation as many here. I paid in full for the prebuilt cap and never received it, with no replies from Marcus at any email address.

I disputed the transaction and Paypal refunded me. I will do my best to report this to eCrater so he is not able to take advantage of anyone else in the future.

As many have already said, don't buy a prebuilt cap!!! Use a Trackclip Pro or build your own.

I just made my first pre build and I will be uploading my pictures. I am willing to make one for $29.00 USD. just email me at giansantos@live.ca if you want the pictures of my prebuild. Mine uses two AA battery and with On and Off switch. I am using the recommended IR Led (SFH485P LED).

PS.

Sorry if i posted here marcus. I am just trying to help anyone who wants to get their hand on this ASAP.
