marcusw.. neat manufacturing. But as a cap is a flexible object, it's very easy to involountarily change the distance between the LEDs by simply fitting it to one's head. This of course making tracking less precise and obliging the owner to measure distances between leds every time that happens and enter them accordingly in FreeTrack.

Not that great for accuracy.

Hmm, not sure... can't get hold of him myself! Looks like I'll have to file a dispute with Paypal if I don't hear back soon :(

I have a 3point cap and this precision isn´t a problem. A cap is a flexible object but, how big is your cap??? I havn´t this problem with the distances `cause my hat is quite right in the head and not loose. The program has a tolerance of the measures. Otherwise the FT team would not have designed the model.

PS: I have a Track IR too, and my movement with a cap is similar the clip.

Hi Marcus. The cap has arrived! (yesterday)

It works great!!!    Wow!
I bought a cheap OEM Microsoft vX1000 webcam and I’m totally overwhelmed by this new experience. (Never used Free-track before.)
Keep up the great work man!

Firstly this is not a dig at the guy that makes these, just my opinion so please don't take offence.

After all the probs Im having getting my own point model working I would have jumped at one of these, however 1 thing stopped me in my tracks..the price..

I have to ask why is this priced at $39.99 when natural points Track Clip Pro is only $35, is a proven product with warranty, and will never need batteries.

This just seems excessive to me especially when the construction probably costs less than $10-$15 (+time of course).

Had it been priced about $25 I would have had one..If i still have no luck in making my own I'll be getting the track clip, shame as I liked the integration you've accomplished.

Marcus, thanks for your work. I just requested and paid for 1 cap.

I was wondering is you or someone can tell me which camera to buy (low cpu demanding) to work great with your cap. Also I got to left hands, so removing the IR cant be to difficult for me.

Hope somebody will share his setup ..

Microsoft VX-3000 is cheap and easy to IR mod, it's done exactly the same as in this guide
