Im constructing a point model and im wondering if these ir LED's would be ok?

I'm not the foremost expert on this, but I'm pretty sure that a 20 degree viewing angle is really bad.

So when looking straight ahead, you'll be fine, but as soon as you turn your head more than 10 degrees in any direction, the LED's arn;t gonna be visible.

I'm also not sure about the Smokey Blue paint on top, the way I see it, it would just cover the light.

So IMO, No, those wouldn't be the best choice, where do you live, some other users can get you links to some good ones.

I also live in Adelaide :D

It just so happens I have just made my 3 point setup, and I used these exact same LEDs. I'm not sure if I'd have a lot better performance with different ones, but these work fine for me.

Just get them and see how you go.
