Class : Apprenti Posts : 2 Registered on : 25/11/2007 Off line	Hi, I was thinking of using Microsoft VX1000 webcam and installing 3 infrared LEDS next to the webcam. I would be using reflector tape on my hat. Seems more simple than fiddling around with power supplies etc... Does anybody have good comments about this way of doing it? Thanks.

Class : Beta Tester Posts : 120 Registered on : 07/11/2007 Off line	I don't want to repeat myself, so here are my posts on this subject. http://forum.free-track.net/index.php?showtopic=466&message=3827 http://forum.free-track.net/index.php?showtopic=697&message=5320 And that's how my reflectors look now, after modifications mentioned in second of above links: You can see that their surface is wavy - it happened when i heated up the tape, and it makes reflections visible from larger angles than flat tape However only three LEDs probably won't be enough. Class : Apprenti Posts : 6 Registered on : 02/04/2008 Off line	Go to Johnny Lee's Youtube video where he uses his fingers to track with the Wiimote. He shows a good setup with LEDs around the webcam.
