A student friend recommended this stuff to me. I'm planning on using it in my 3 point setup  which will be attached to my headphone/microphone headset.
It's granular plastic material that becomes hand mouldable at 62C. You can hand form practically any object and at room temperature, it's as tough as nylon.

Apparently, it's biodegradable on contact with air, so maybe painting it with an oil based paint might be in order.

Off line Www

cool material.

-less expensive one:
HOT GLUE -its hand moldeble (when cooled down a bit), and you can roll it between (in) the oily-paper you get sandwiches and other fastfood products in. AND when rolled into rods (with the wires inside) you can glue them together with the same stuff.
support FREETRACK developers, the do it FREE for you -HELP them/yourself help others.
-another fun DIY thing to do, works with Free-Track too, HAVE A LOOK

price for this molding stuff seems very reasonable, just think about what you would have to pay for 1 kg of hot glue sticks. i just wonder if it's the same stuff sold in a different shape or really something new. the biodegradeability could be a hint that it is really something different (and maybe better).

besides, i'm not happy enough with the long term stability of hot glue to recommend it as a main building material, but yeah, i still use it everywhere, who doesn't.

Hot glue isn't hand mouldable. It's burn hot when soft. I've been using it in my 3 point headset model. It's painfully hot to touch while soft. Polymorph is just about holdable while it's soft. Washing up gloves help a lot.
In the end, I didn't use polymorph, but it's fun nonetheless.
