RSS > LEDs not lighting up when testing

Class : Apprenti Posts : 3 Registered on : 22/11/2014 Off line	So I tested my circuit before soldering all the connections and glueing the LEDs in place, and they do not light up. Using overpriced Radioshack 5mm IR LEDs (1.2V Forward voltage, 100mA forward current) and 18 Ohm 1/4V resistors. Power supply is 2 AA batteries (3V). Wiring is in parallel. Class : Moderator Posts : 656 Registered on : 16/11/2007 Off line	Hi, did you check it with a mobile (no iPhone) or a webcam. You can't see ir-light light with your eyes.
