Hello there, I've made a 3 points cap and I'm trying to make freetrack work, it does but I just get like 10 fps.
I've tried 2 trust webcams; an oldie one with which I get 12 fps.
A newer one (Ceptor HD Video Webcam) with which I get 8 fps.
When I point to light fps raise, so I guess the problem is caused by autoexposure on, tried vistaenabler and set the exposure manually but it changes nothing.
So does anyone have a workaround or I'll just have to buy other brand camera?

Hi Imnpsnm,
the trick is, make your webcam think there is a lot of light.
You must shine with a bright light into the webcam .You wil see the fps rise and then turn of auto exposure. If AE is turned of you can lower your exposure manually.
In the settings of my webcam(ms vx3000) I also enabled "outdoor"(instead of indoor).Outdoor function will decrease the exposure because there is more light outsite then inside of you room. But I don't know if you have that setting.
