Hello! I'm done with my led setup, very pleased with it, thank you Tristan for helping me out with the electrics.

Im on fine tuning the curves etc for FSX but notice stuttering when panning when i change  to Simconnect in "Output". Has anybode else noticed this?

Thank you.

Does it stop stuttering when you start FSX?

Unfurtunately, yes. It's not as smooth as say knights 2. My computer is not very speedy by todays standards (p4 2.55, 768mb, 9800pro) but i set everything to lowest and there is still this problem. Also, Freetrack does not increase cpu-load or anything when i tick the simconnect box.

Why is it unfortunate that the stuttering stops when you start FSX?

Knights 2?

SimConnect uses TCP/IP to communicate so try disabling any security/firewall apps running in the background.

Ah, of course i mean "unfurtuntely yes, i still stutters in fsx".

ok, have no firewalls and windows security center disabled.

i must have been comfused last night, i meant aces high 2

Will experiment some more this weekend, it is very noticeable in freetrack as soon as you tick the simconnect box so if this problem was common peaople would notice.

cheers!

I know the problem, I have it on my computer also but I don't have FSX, only SimConnect installed separately, so I haven't been able to troubleshoot it properly. It doesn't seem to be a common problem, very system specific. Security apps can interfere even when disabled, uninstalling them is the only way to be sure they aren't involved.

See if this helps:
