Just to warn people that the new CLEye driver (0528) causes FreeTrack to crash with a reference to FreeTrackFilterSSE2.ax.

EDIT: I'm not sure if I tried this before, but clicking Start with the Source set to Demo Video also causes it to crash, with a reference to KernelBase.dll. I'm not sure this could be related to the CLEye driver, so maybe there's something else that's causing this, or even both crashes. Although it didn't crash when clicking Start with it set to the PS3Eye when I tested before, I haven't tested recently and it's possible some other update or install is causing the crashes, although there's at least one other report on the CLEye forums about 0528 causing FreeTrack to crash.

In other applications stream control is no longer available so it cannot be changed from 30fps.

Hmm, I reinstalled the previous v5.0.1.0218 and Freetrack still crashes just the same, so maybe it's nothing to do with the new driver.

I didn't uninstall the new driver or anything first and I haven't rebooted yet either, so I don't know if those would be likely to make a difference.

I've uninstalled, rebooted and installed the older drivers and now it's working again, so clearly it is the new driver that's the problem.

I has the same problem.
Looks like it can be solved by installing old version of driver

linkage: www.codelaboratories.com/files/archive/CL-Eye-Driver-5.0.1.0520.exe

Also I used solution from here: http://forum.free-track.net/index.php?showtopic=3247 to get stream settings work

And followed steps as described here: http://forum.free-track.net/index.php?showtopic=2416 (just installed an old driver version from link above).

All works just fine!

I just bought a PS3 eye and the first drivers I installed were the 5.0.1.0528 drivers. I read your post and downloaded the .0520 driver. I uninstalled the .0528 ones and tried installing the .0520 drivers but when I look in the device manager the cl_driver say version .0528. I uninstalled them, rebooted and tried again and the same thing is happening. I can't seem to get Windows 7 to install the .0520. Any ideas, does the installer grab files from the web and is that why it keeps updating to the latest??? Argh this is insanity.

Clean the driver store of the old 528 drivers using DriverStore Explorer.

Thanks for the help. I actually did the same thing manually making sure all traces of the driver were gone. Then I uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled the 5.0.1.0520 drivers. Funny, but when I look under the driver properties it says version  5.0.1.218. Oh well, it works in Freetrack now. All that left to do is see if I can get the stream function to work as its stuck on 30fps.

The stream solution above seems a little backdoor/workaround-ish but if it works then it might be the only way. I have that eye config file in my Freetrack directory but it doesn't make the stream work. As an alternative, finding that older driver v3.0.0.0901 is a bit hard. It doesn't seem that CL lets you download the older drivers unless I am missing something.

New drivers have just been released and work with FreeTrack:
http://www.codelaboratories.com/files/archive/CL-Eye-Driver-5.1.1.0176.exe

*stream control is back
*cleye.config is no longer required to get higher frame rates.
*320x240 can now go up to 187fps

Hum, having a problem. Stream control seems to be working but everytime I hit the start button in Freetrack, the program stops working.
