Hello,

I have setup Freetrack 2.2.0.279 and properly applied the CLeyePatch to get it working with my install of Win7 64-bit. I am using a PS3 Eyetoy with the IR filter removed and 3 layers of exposed film in front of the CCD sensor. I am using a cap model and I have manually adjusted the gain and exposure sliders so that it outputs 3 big, bright, round, perfect blobs for Freetrack to track at a solid 30fps. I get 3 stable crosshairs dead in the center of each of the 3 blobs on a solid black background.

The problem that I am having is that FreeTrack's rotation and translation values are very low compared to what I am actually doing on camera. For example, a yaw of my head about 45 degrees results in a FreeTrack yaw of about 4 or 5 degrees.

Adjusting the sensitivity sliders on the profile page to 3 has helped a little, but it still is not good enough as I have to rotate 45 to get about 12 degrees of output. My curves are set to the default linear value.

Adjusting the cap measurements didn't seem to help either. I've carefully measured the values and they vary only slightly from the default cap model values, the only real differences are that my middle LED is a little higher (at around 80mm)  and a little further back (115) due to the length of the shrinkwrap I used.

My cap setup tracked very well using the 2.1 version, but I could not get it working with DCS A-10C before I installed Freetrack 2.2.

Is there a config file somewhere that I'm missing?

What are your "Global axis adjustments"?

Is there a config file somewhere that I'm missing?

You can reset all settings to default. Delete file "Freetrack.ini" in your Freetrack folder. Freetrack will recreate default Freetrack.ini on next restart.

You are exactly right my friend. For some reason I never spotted the Global sliders.

Thanks, I'm all set now!!!  :D
