In the FreeTrack help, it says about de model position settings:

"The model's position relative to a centre of rotation can be specified to minimise unwanted translation during rotation."

Does this only influence the unwanted translation during rotation, or does it also corrects the unwanted rotation during exclusive translation? i.e. if the model positions are set to 0, and I move the model left, it also results in a small Yaw.

Understand?

Yes

No, you have to keep looking directly at the camera to prevent rotation while translating. I don't see this as a problem, more like a feature, because you always want to be looking at the screen anyway.
