Hello gentlemen, I have been following these forums for quite a while and have constructed my own freetrack system using a PS3Eye cam with 880DF filter and SFH285P IR LEDS.

However, my layout/design for the placement of the Active LEDs, are giving me some strange results.  I do not know if this results from the LED layout or just I need to put further work into the profile to get it to work.

Please take a look at these images, you will see the 3 LEDs are in series, with a little project box that has switchable resistances between 6.2 and 9.2 OHM for different current and intensity, the power supply provides exactly 5.08 VDC.

I don't seem to be getting much pitch or yaw response and think its the setup.

Can anyone give me an ideal and best way to setup the LEDs a Clip or Hat?  Any feedback welcome!

It's simple, this pattern is totally wrong: LEDs must not be coplanar (it is also written in the various manuals).
