Off line

I apologise if this has been asked before or if there is something I could read to find out on my own but since I am clueless when it comes to electronics I am at a complete loss.

I have purchased some IR 5mm LEDs which state they have an aprox voltage of 1v but I cannot find out what the forward current(mA) is in order to work out what resister I would need.

The data sheet that is printed on the packet is just plain confusing to me but it can be viewed here.

Can any one please rescue some one drowning in confusion please!

Quick edit: I think I just spotted it, is the forward current 10mA?
