Hi there,

I completed my first attempt at a 3-Point Clip tracker using Free-track.

Using the SFH485P LED's and a Logitech Quickcam Express. Everything is working fine, however, initially I was getting a constant 28FPS from the camera, then all of a sudden after about 15mins it dropped to 15FPS and I had to drop the threshold right down to get distinguishable points.
I also am unable to get the "Z" axis to function nicely.

I'm going to rebuild it this weekend as a Cap setup, I think it will be more consistent and comfortable, but would appreciate any help or advice with these issues.

Thanks in advance,

G.

Try to set:

- mode to "outdoor"
- "usb bandwidth" to max
- "exposure" time to min
- disable zoom (my camera has it always on)

Don't sit very close to camera. Z axis doesn't work good then.

I had similar problem yesterday when I was messing with camera setup. I had to unplug camera a restart freetrack because I got only 15fps.
