I realize that this is an old post that I am replying to but for those who, like me, find it via google while trying to get the Logitech C200 to work I can answer the question;
The IR filter is on the bottom of the lens itself and not on the CCD. Unscrew the lens, turn it over and you will see a round red lense. This is the IR filter, it is very easy to pop out with an exacto knife. The easiest IR filter removal that I have done so far.
