I have 52" LCD tv that I use for my computer monitor, and I sit on the couch which is about 2 (+/-) meters away.
I have a vx-3000 camera that I modified to an IR cam, and I setup a 3 point cap system using a ball cap.
The thing is, the points are about 2px bit and on the cam display are very close together because I am so far away, so I figured that I am going to need to make a new LED system.
My question is, considering this distance, what should I use for numbers in building a new LED mount so that the system picks it up well.
Also, when I test now, I find it cuts out alot (distance?)... but I have to pretty much crank the sensitivity on the profile and the depth detection is almost not existant.
If I was to create a optimal point model for the distance involved, what should I use for settings in the software to get the best performance.
My first test in IL2 using a tracking system was somewhat difficult as every tiny little movement of my head made it hard to follow the target and keep the plane flying.
I wasn't expecting it to be this hard actually.
Any advice would be welcome.
