Hi, I finally managed to launch FreeTrack on my laptop with Win 7 (v2.1, v2.2 still crashes, although I did all the stuff described at forum).
The problem is, it crashes after pressing "Start", just when the camera starts. Surprisingly, it works if i set a high camera resolution (1600x1200 or 1280x960) however, as you can imagine, it doesn't make much sense because the framerate drops to 5fps making it useless.
I tried updating webcam driver but it seems I already have the latest one (generic driver).
Has anyone got an idea what might be wrong?

I have a built in camera - unfortunatelly the only data I managed to obtain is that it is produced by Microsoft (Microsoft USB 2.0 WebCam)

Ok, I should have read the FAQ more carefully:). Because the camera is using a generic driver provided with the OS, it couldn't be launched in the right color format. Getting a camera splitter software fixed the problem. However, I can't get this thing to work in any higher resolution than 320x240:/ - tried SplitCamera and ManyCam, which I'm using right now.
