he guys, i´m really happy with the freetrack. it´s working fine and i already did my first steps online sucessfully. amazing software, no doubt about it.

i´m playing IL2 sturmovik, but somehow the preset profile wouldn´t give me the ability to look left and right. up and down works properly.
so i made a new profile, which works very good.
the problem is, that it sometimes jumps to that default IL2-1945 profile. not only when i restart the game, also while playing. really not good, when u suddenly cannot see the enemy beneeth.  :lol:

i did not find any differences in the settings between my selfmade profile and this preset.
is there a way to just erase the default IL2 profile or do you know how i could configure it to make it work fine? or is there a way to always force the game using the one i built myself?

I pretty much found that saving as default would save my settings (click on "default" and then "save" instead of clicking the "+" next to default to expand the menu to show the individual games).

Trying to save under individual games didn't seem to make the settings stick for individual games.

Just my personal experience.

it does not work, not under default and not under a selfmade profile. if i start the game it jumps to the preset profile Il2-1945.
any ideas?

Honestly, I don't even look at that anymore.  I just make my adjustments (most of which stick from the previous session) and go fly.  I did notice that when you hit "start" and click on "camera" that the camera exposure on the second tab still sets itself to different settings and has to be tweaked - otherwise, I hit "center" and minimize FreeTrack and start my simulator.  I have only been saving to "default" and those settings under profile and global settings have been sticking.

i would also prefer not to look at it, but like i said, it jumps to the preset Il2 profile by itself. would be real nice, if there is any way to delete those presets or to force the software not to automatically jump.

C:\Program Files\FreeTrack\Programs.ini

You can edit this file and remove game profile from the list. Probably it will solve your problem.  :)

deleted the preset Il2 profile in programs.ini.
now it does not work any more, so that´s not the way to solve the problem.
i just wonder why that preset wouldn´t alow me to use the view to the side, could be so easy...
