Hi, sorry to make another one of these types of threads, all the others are old.
Anyway, with new cameras out there, I was wondering what would be the best for free track.
I only want to do a single point model. I do not need more than 2dof. I just want to play ArmA 2 and be able to look up and down and left to right.
Behind where I sit is dark grey wall, all day long. The only light in my room even during the day comes from a lamp in another corner and my monitor. There is no need to worry about background light in the least bit.
I do not have any camera so I would need to buy one. All recommendations are welcome. I have seen the list on the main page of compatible cameras, but that does not say which one is overall best. Plus, that list is kind of out dated.
I have read a few posts about the PS3 EYE, no one really says how it is though. I know it can do an awesome framerate. Although, I do not know if it will hinder my ArmA2 performance, or how well it works with freetrack.
I would include all of my pc specs, but it would be a waste as I assume the camera and freetrack only use CPU for the most part. I have a Q9550 @3.51.
I am interested in purchasing within the next day or so. Hopefully you guys can let me know.
