Hi

I saw LEDs light on camera seems too big and I think of small LED for a smaller light halo and better precision tracking, is it right? And suddenly I thought about using small diameter optical fiber for this purpose. And it might simplify the construction of clips, hats,.. bc it only needs less wire and connection.

So has anyone tried this method? What do you think about it?

As long as the light that comes out of the tip of the fiber is scattered in a wide angle it would probably work fine. I don't think the software has much trouble with the big light blobs that the LEDs generate, but I thin your idea is very interesting!
