Hi there,

my name is Mark and iam new to freetrack.
I have build a 3 LED track cap with WiiRemote via Bluetooth to the system.
I have used until now a 9V Battery Block as power supply, but the lifetime from the battery was not the best, so i want to take the 5V power from an external USB Hub. The Hub is also powered via a seperate power supply.

That means i have to recalculate the resistor and connect the LEDs via an USB Cable to the pins 1 and 4 (http://de.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Datei:USB.svg&filetimestamp=20090406174048)

Is there anything a have overseen in the forum / documentation when i want to use the powering via USB Hub ?

Has anyone from the community suggestions / tips, ... for me?

Additional information will be highly appreciated.

thanks
Mark

Here is a diagram on how to connect a single LED to a USB power supply.

Then check this out on powering LED's

Hopefully some of that helps,
