On trying to open my download of Version 2..2.0.279 I get the above message.  I have tried downloading on two computers, one running XP and one Vista. Uninstalled and tried again. Same answer.  I was subsequently able to download the prior version. Should 2.2.0.279 be loaded OVER something or just on its own ? Where should I find "d3dX9_33 dll"

Thank you very much benmeijer.
I had done a 'search'  but it did not come up with anything.  I have now downloaded and inserted the file,  Freetrack opens now but I have not yet got it to work on the demo.  I haven't got a compatible camera yet anyway so hope that I can get it to work when I start 'for real' :-)

Updated to DX10 and it now works in the demo.  Thanks again
