Hi mates, i'm having a trouble with FSX, hope you can help me out !

My 4 pts freetrack 2.2 works great with Black Shark and Lock On FC, but with FSX it's not recognized, I tried to find the solution but it's completely no clue.
I tried to reinstall freetrack 2.1 but when I started freetrack it would crash.

I'm running winXP SP2. Anyone has solution ?

On the output tab, make sure you have simconnect-flight simulator x checked

Hi people,

I am having the same problem as anlq: FT is working perfectly for me in fs9, but in fsx demo i cannot get tracking to work.

I have tried different combinations of output settings, and got some half results, like seeing the mouse move in fsx when i selected the mouse output option.

The problem for me is that the manual/handbook does not really give step-by-step instructions for making it work with fsx, the number of configuration possibilities is almost endless, and the forums are not really clear on it either (at least for me)

So I must be missing something: I installed fsx demo, made no changes to it's configuration. Then opened up FT (latest version), set the output to simconnect, started tracking, ran FSX and started a flight. What step did i skip?

Hope someone can clear this up for me, as I am starting to doubt my sanity :-D

That is because the FSX demo software does not have simconnect support.

They had to take some things out to get the demo down to 700MB, from a 16GB software application, and simmconnect was one of the things they yanked out.
