ok, i kniow ideally that freetrack should be use in a darkened enviroment but this is not possible for me.

how much do i have to worry about backlight? i have a lamp behind me will that cause problems? will a floppy disk filter work?

My proposal is to use
VX-1000
Trackclip PRO
Vista  ultimate 4Gb ram

Now, using the VX-1000 and 64bit vista, will the "enable button" software work for auto exposure work?

the track clip pro uses ir leds, right? in this case the floppy disc/ negative film filter should work well.

i just tried it with a cheap webcam and only ir light was visible after applying 2 layers of negative film. ;)
