(Sorry for my english...)

I made a 3-led assembly, with a 9V transformer.

Here's the problem: When I install an extension cord between the transformer and the power strip, the webcam fails to detect LEDs (While it works to perfection without the extension (thanks to a small sanding ...))

Does it comes from the internal resistance of the extension? (I've tried several ...)

No I don't think so (or you must use an extension power cable of 10000 meter  ;) )
Try to connect a lamp or spotlight to your extension cord and see if it works.
Maybe the pins of your power supply make no good contact in the extension cable.

Thanks!
By shaking the extension cable, sometimes it works, sometimes not ...
(And whit certain cable it never works).
The "terminals" of the transformer must have a small flaw

So, I have to find the proper extension cable, or to find a stable position ...
