Hi to all. I've just bought some IR LED. Hereunder you can find the characteristic:
VF (IF=20mA)
typ. 1.2V
max. 1.5V
IR (VR=5V) 10µA
CO (V=0 f=1 MHz) 90pF
lp (IF=20 mA) 940nm
Dl (IF=20 mA) 50nm
Pd 100mW
IF 50mA
IP 1.2A
VR 5V
Emitting material GaAs
For the Wizard Calculator, what kind of mA I have to put into "Forward Current (mA)"? I know that the V is 1.2V, but the mA?
Thank You

Hi,
You should enter forward current 20 mA, if you use 1.2V. 50 mA is probably max. value for 1,5 V.
