Hi all. New to the forums and just build my model and modded my cam today. I am using a Logitech Quick Cam Connect; IR filter removed and using a cut up Floppy disk as a lens filter. LED's are Radio Shack 1.2v 100mA 940nm I have them sanded down for viewing angle. Having a few issues; I have read the FAQs and most of the other info on the site. I guess I must be missing something. For one thing no matter what I do i cannot seem to get above 16 fps. All features on the camera are disabled and it does not matter what resolution/ exposure settings I am using. Its not CPU related (Q9400 oc'd to 3.6ghz) and I am certain its plugged into a USB 2.0 slot that is no being shared with any other devices. The other thing is the range of movement I am getting. It seems to be very limited. I have adjusted the LED placements on my cap but nothing is making a significant difference. The program will track my movements but the skull only moves very slightly. Any pointers?
