hi everyone after reading a few of these posts and trying the led assembly wizard my head is still a bit pickled can someone tell me if ive got this right

so for 3 point model im using 2xAA rechargable batterys and maplin ld271 leds

http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=2262&&source=14&doy=15m6
would i be correct to use 3x
18 ohm resistors

and if i were to use a 9v battery would i be correct to use 3x 82 ohms resistors

confirmation or correction of this would be much appreciated

Hello Kungfuking

with 18 ohms resistors and 2 AA rechargeable batteries, you get about 60mA in each led.

So 18 ohms is a valid value , given your setting.

Your 82 ohms value is Ok too, for 62 mA when powered by a 9v battery.
But 1 res is enough in this case , since your then using a serial setup.
