Hi

I tried to install version 2.2.0.279 after uninstalling a previous version. But now whenever i try to start freetrack a got an error stating that d3dx9_33dll is missing...

Any clues?

Yes ! You must install directx 9.0c to solved this kind of problem !  ;)

on XP (SP1  ,SP2, SP3) or Vista (SP1) too ...

Was your re-install of the directX part or freetrack ? I upgraded to dx10.  Also you would need to make sure that you have d3dx9_33.dll in your Windows/system folder. There is a link to a download somewhere in the forum if not on this thread
