I've looked here about it and only found marcusw's thread. It seems though he hasn't been on line for a while so I can't just buy a pre made cap from him.

I've looked on line for caps with LED's and this http://marinestore.co.uk/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=NT6250&Category_Code=caps-hats&Store_Code=mrst and this http://www.orvis.co.uk/store/product_choice.asp?pf_id=41KY&dir_id=466&group_id=488&cat_id=8540&subcat_id=6986&adv=9652&cm_mmc=channeladvisor-_-google-_-9652&CAWELAID=153295122 are the only ones I've found.

Would either work with Free Track?

I suspect that the distance between the LED's is too small.  Also, they are likely to be fairly narrow in their focus, which would be fixable.  The battery life is also likely to be poor since they use tiny batteries.

I suspect that hat would just be too much trouble to be worth the purchase.  However, I have seen LED glasses, with lights on the sides.   I will try to see if I can find it again.  It has been a long time since I've seen them.

I just found one;

However, it is also based on tiny batteries that won't last very long. Even if you aren't over 40 years old, like me, I wonder if the use of the read glasses would help things appear to be farther away, since the eye has to focus as though the screen were farther away?

Well I'm looking for IR L.E.D's now, the light during day is too much. I've already made the mods to the webcam (remove filter, add something to block normal light) but the model shop I thought might have the L.E.D's I need has gone, so I need help finding cheap IR L.E.D's with a power supply and other stuff that'll make it work.

I'd be willing to part with a little cash if someone can rig up a solution like this http://img144.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img5995li7.jpg (cap not needed I have one) and is inside the U.K.
