Hi,
that's my first topic and I can't understand why my FreeTrack does not work in games.
The software itself works pretty well (the skull looks around and mouse emulation in Windows also works), but I tried to use it with FSX and Americas Army and nothing happened.
What I have done:
1) Build a 3 point cap
2) Installed FreeTrack and configured it a little bit
3) Started FSX and AA
4) Installed FreeTrack for an other time, but no effect
Is there someone who can help me?

That's exactly my problem, but with XP Pro SP3 and a 3-point clip...

For FSX do you have "Flight Simulater X (SimConnect)" checked in Free-track under "Output"?? And make sure you have Microsoft Flight Simulator X SDK installed as well. That can be found on your FSX disk.

yes J already had a look at your topic, but I have vista and the solution at the end is only for GTR2...
Laidback:
"Flight Simulater X (SimConnect)" is checked and after I had installed SDK it worked with FSX.

But that doesn't explain why Americas Army does not recognize any FreeTrack activity....
Now I will try Colin McRae: Dirt and I hope that works...

OK, I could not install Dirt but i installed Test Drive Unlimited and it worked very well. I only had to check the "TrackIR" - Box in the control options.

Yeah, sorry Hoiz. I don't have America's Army, so I couldn't give you any suggestions on that.

It seems AA only allows trackir use when in vehicules, not when on foot.
Did you already tried that ?
BTW, since AA is listed as TIR compatible game, you must use "TIR enhanced interface" in output tab
