Everyone that wants to enjoy immersion that only 6DOF can give you needs to buy this hat, you will love it.

I was totally burnt out on FSX, but now its a whole new experience, no more panning with the hat switch on the joystick.

I can't wait to pump out some new video's, I recommend this product and can't give Marcus enough praise for his product, support, and follow up, he's a great guy.
Get this hat, you'll love it.

This is how my FT looks like when i sit infront of my logtiech quickcam:

Does it look normal? I've tried to adjust all the settings for the cam in FT and i think i got the best quality of the dots. Or should the dots be smaller?

Edit: Nevermind, i found that i can set focus on my cam.    (im noob on this stuff)  ^^  so i get this picture:

Looks better huh?  B)

I have been tracking this thread for a week or so now. I am impressed with the responses as to the quality of the finished product. I will be taking apart my camera (Ezoincs) to see if I can remove the IR filter. If I don't have to get another camera I will likely be ordering a cap next week.

At the moment I am using a crude 3 led pen light configuration. Works but not to perfection.

I'm glad you like it. On a side note with your camera... do you intend on using a wiimote when 2.2 comes out? If so, I'd hold off on the new camera, I working on something that's gonna really help the wiimote users. ;)

Hehe we are all children at the beginning  :D

Edit: Is it better to have so small dots as possible. Small but clear visible?

Your Second picture there looks perfect. Thats the right size for the points. If you watch the demo in free track, you'll see that they are i dentical to the size of your points. If there there too big, you run the risk of them crossing each other. Too small, they won't track properly.

Got my cap in wednesday, after some tuning working perfectly.

I do have very small dots though, haven't really been able to enlarge them ?
What setting would that do ?

Thanx a lot Marcus, really great product mate !!

I know you already got my pm and fixed it, but I thought I should post for everyone to see.

hehe, I should have traded you a hat for that reflective system. I would like to have a crack at it.

I have 5 caps to make tonight. And I'm working on a new project as well. Lots of work to do... ;)

My kitchen looks like Frankenstien's laboratory. Wires and chemicals everywhere. If a policeman came in, I'd probably be arrested for having a suspected meth lab, lol.

Heh, the same thing was in my mind when you said you wanted a try at reflective tracking.

I'm willing to send it to you if you pay for shipping.

Hey Marcus,

Just got back from a weeks holiday to see the neighbour delivering a small box with a hat in... great work mate and thanks for the swift delivery from TN!

Now to get FS2004 & FSX to play properly with it!

They both recognise the head track software and both do track head movements but in a very jerky fashion. Lots of fun to be had getting this all to work!

For anyone in even the smallest doubt about the quality of these hats... don't be! Top quality stuff here!

Cheers!

I must agree, the hat work very well indeed. Tried a couple of days now and its wonderful in every meaning    :pirate:
Just had a session in Race07 and its wonderful how you can lean your head into the curves of a track and almost feel how the car goes through the corners tnx to the hat + FT  :glasses:  it takes the games i play to a complete new level  :)
Cheers!
