I was wondering what leds the ClipPro is using.
Lurking a bit in their forum I found that the infrared camera:

The LEDs emit at 880nm and are standard off the shelf IR LEDs; we run them all the time when the unit is turned on. There are 4 of them and they each have a total radiant output of about 23mw/sr, which is 23miliwats per ster radian. Total output power is NOT 4 X 23 mw/sr as the LEDS do not overlap exactly; they create a coverage pattern with slight overlap at the edges. Also, the LEDs to not emit a uniform brightness, they have an angle to half intensity, so the center of the overlapping LEDs is the SAME brightness as the center of each LEDs output, hope that makes sense.

So can I assume that also the LEDs from the Clip are 880nm?
I was searching on ebay IR filters but I cannot find 880nm wavelength.  :(

You can also try to find LED with 940nm...that works too... :)

Ok basically my concern is to use the best tuned filter to cover my logitech quickcam.
I have tried the wiimote with the TrackIR Clip but the intensity of the dots is not great because reading the specs on wiibrew:

With the IR-pass filter intact, 940nm sources are detected with approximately twice the intensity of equivalent 850nm sources, but are not resolved as well at close distances. If the filter is removed, it can track any bright object.

so my concern is to avoid reducing the intensity with a bigger wavelength.
But on the other side maybe the pass band is soo wide that doesn't matter.
hmmmm

Pls., if finaly you use wiimote+track clip pro, pls, report about the captation quality. Im my case the captation of leds (using track-clip pro + freetrack+wiimote), its very very poor. I
m not sure is the problem its about leds of track-clip pro, my bluethoot device, the bluesoleil version that I use, the operating system.....Im not sure, but I need info about other people that try this.

Thx in advance!!
