Marcus you fiend - I think I have RSI of the neck from looking around all the time. Your cap and advice have made such an impact here I haven't ventured away from my screen for the last two weeks. Anyone talks to me I aim the cap at them and tell them to go away.

Amazing performance. I have a frame rate problem which I will sort out when I get time to stop flying.

Appreciation, and thanks

Gotta second this,
Great product, great value, speedy delivery, nice guy.
The immersion FreeTrack+Marcus' hat have added to my simming is outstanding. Unfortunately I've been tied up with a project at work for the last month, and I've only been able to don the hat twice since receiving it a few weeks ago.
The project will be wrapped up next week, and I'm looking forward to a FreeTrack/Flight Sim marathon. If only v2.2 would be released by then--that would certainly be the icing on the cake.
Thanks again, Marcus!

Bruce,

I don't know whether to thank you, or apologize for your neck. I guess both, so: Thank you for letting me injure your neck!  I'm glad you are enjoying the cap. I never imagined I would have made so many of these. Anway, thanks for the kind words, and have fun!

 Marcus, Seen your hat while brousing through here for more information. I am in the process of making one myself. I just thought I would make a suggestion for you. You may have given it thought before but I will offer it anyway. I was going to use a 9V bat and a 100 Ohm pot incase I needed to adjust brightness to tune. This brings up the suggestion. The use of R/C connectors in the hat to give the possible ability to replace the IR Led by simply plugging it in. Normally you will never have to replace the LED but the thought come up due to my thinking of adustable intensity which runs the risk of burning the LED. This way you simply snip the leads on the LED to 1/4 inch length and plug them in. No soldering.
